Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

    The Thang: Summer conditioning part 2 started out on a beautiful humid morning. YHC was sore from the swimming the day before at the Harshstead. Too many random kids jumping on him. 9 HIM showed up this morning to have some fun. We started up with side straddle hops to the classic punk tune “Damnit” by Blink-182. That was about 2. 5 minutes. We then lined up and sprinted about 40 yards down & back. We did this 50 times and did the following after each: 50 side straddle hops, 50 LBC’s, 50 Klinger kicks, 50 Imperial Walkers and 50 Merkins. We then split in to two teams with Houdini as the all time quarterback. It was a fun time and it was great to see the competition between father & son(Sleeves & Sipe). Everyone seemed to have fun and also worked up a sweat. Thank God nobody got hurt!
