“The 40/40 Club”
The idea for today was a tabata workout with 40 different movements, lasting 40 seconds each, over a forty minute beatdown. Movements would be rotated between full body, upper body, legs, and core. Some of the exercises required a block.
PAX – Pinewood, Patch, Minnie, Mulcahey, Ollie, Brute, Danica, Sipe, Trinity, Chum, Bambi, Poodle, Tucky, Tidwell, Thong Song, Koresh, and Mole as Q.
We started at 5:30 with the core principles, explained the plan for the day and got right into it with 40 seconds of burpees.
1) Burpees, Curls, Basketball Lunges, Plank
2) Hook Uppercut x 2, Walking Merkins, Power Lunges, Slow Freddy Mercury
3) Man Makers, Block Swings, Spiderman Squats, Toe Touch Situps
4) Jab Cross Hook Uppercut, Block Rows, LT Dans, Big Boy Situps
5) Mountain Climbers, Skull Crushers, Broad Jumps, Starfish Situps
6) Jab Cross Kick Right Kick Left, Mike Tysons, Bulgarian Squats, Plank Knee to Elbow
7) Inchworms, Over head Press, Block Squats, Leg Raises
8) Hook Elbow Back Elbow Back Kick, Hand Release Merkins, Lunges, Hip Dips
9) Supermans, Upright Rows, Jump Squats, Klinger Kicks
10) Thrusters, One hand on block Merkins, Goblet Squats, Knee Claps
