Cousteau had the honor to Q at Ant Hill for Mayor, Beaker, Hustle, and Trapeze.
We discussed the difficulty dealing with mental illness due to its hidden nature, the fact that as men we are trained to now show weakness, and due to the fact that we can’t just fix it in others. The Beatdown consisted of timed repetitions if the following:
Star Squats – right side squat left side squat, forward lunge, backward lunge
Walking Merkins – left arm out, wide merkin, left arm back in, diamond merkin, right arm out, wide merkin, right arm back in diamond merkin.
Clam Shell Sit-ups – lie on back in flutter kick position, legs up, lift knees to chest as you do a sit-up. Back down flat, don’t let feet touch the ground.
1 minute each exercise 20 second break between sets.
    Repeato with 2 minute sets.
    New set
Partner squats – back to back lean against each other.
Swing Plank Merkins – plank position right arm up, left arm up, merkin
Big Boy Sit-ups touching each side .
The exercises were started off with a lap around the building and we ended with a lap.
COT we prayed for those dealing with mental illness or trying to help others with mental illness.
Cousteau finished by reading the following passages:
Galatians 6:2 Help carry each other’s burdens. In this way you will follow Christ’s teachings.

    2 Corinthians 1:
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
