Bootcamp Style Beatdown enjoying everything nature has to offer. This site offers a Playground for pull-ups, a large field full of …you guessed it…ant hills, and secret access into one of our best MetroParks.

    The Thang: “Back to School”

    Mailman told Hustle that lately the beatdowns have been only on the asphalt at the Ant Hill and that we needed to get back to seeing the rest of this beautiful AO. So, Mailman set up five stations all throughout the campus. Each station had a name representing a “school mate.” The morning began with the core principles and some light rain. Unfortunately, the rain passed, and we had to get to work.

    The stations were as follows:

    **30 lbs. rucksack optional**

    1. Baseball Diamonds (Brad): Burpees 10, Ruck Swings 10, American Hammers 15 (4 is 1), and Weighted Dips 20. Run to next station.

    2. Far southeast corner of the campus (Jack): Jump Squats 10, Alternating Shoulder Taps 20 (4 is 1), Circle Burp (PAX in a circle doing high knees while everyone goes around and says “down” when someone says “down” the entire PAX completes a burpee and then goes back to high knees), and Klinger Kicks 20 (4 is 1). Partner carry to next station.

    3. Field by basketball court (Steve): Sit ups 30, Thrusters 20, Elevator Merkins (led by Sipe!) 20, V-ups 20, and then we elephant walked in a zig zag through the wooded posts for 50 yards. Walk to next station.

    4. Alleyway of school (Walt): Wall sit with ruck overhead or on lap for 1 minute, Ascending Gentlemen 5, Lunges 10 (2 is 1), and Tricep Ruck Pulls 20. Run to next station.

    5. Northeast corner of the campus (Billy the Bully): Burpees 15, Inchworms 15, Lunges 20 (2 is 1), LBCS 40, and Yurpee 15 (burpee with two tuck jumps at the top).

    After we finished, we ran back to the cars and flag. We did COT, Mole was the six, prayers for Christmas’s wife with her bar exam, Hustle’s niece, and all the kids going back to school.

    Thank you to the 15 HIMs who came out to Ant Hill to take their #DRP. You men make me stronger physically and mentally every day. For that I am extremely grateful. Thank you!
