Boot camp style workout. At Woodland Park. Two large Playgrounds, Frisbee Golf Course, 1 Mile Dirt Track, HUGE Field. Plenty of space here to craft a diabolical smokefest for even the strongest PAX.
Entrance is off East Boundary. Kip Boulis Drive.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Lamplight Cafe and Bakery located at 121 W. Indiana ave. Great opportunity to get to know members of F3Toledo and refuel from the workout.
Cinder-Ella Beatdown – (Cinder Block Work)
We started in the circle of trust with the Mission Statement , Core Principles, and the Disclaimer. We began the warm-up with 20 side straddle hops the took our cinder blocks down the trail to the Grace Church parking lot for some work. We had station 1 with merkins and station 2 was cinder squats. We lunged 15 yards to get from station 1 to 2 and did high knees back. We started with 0 merkins and 15 squats. We added 1 merkin each cycle and subtracted 1 cinder squat per round. When finished we ended up with 120 merkins and quats and 225 yards of both lunges and high knees. For the second round we started with 0 plank jacks and 10 cinder curl /to overhead press. We duck walked to station 2 and did butt kicks to station 1. 55 reps per exercise and 150 yards of duck walks and butt kicks. We ended the beatdown by holding plank and counting to 100 where the person counting did a merkin. After that we ended in the COT, did a counterama, and namerama where Hazmat was the 6. It is awesome to see Hazmat growing into the man God created over the past 2 years. Awesome work on the pre-ruck and great job on the 6. I am proud to call you a friend and brother! We had announcements. Geppetto challenged the group just to give. We closed in prayer and prayed Flo, Butterfly , Heisenbergs friend, and our EMT and service men. Thanks for the effort and giving me the opportunity to lead such an awesome PAX of HIMs!!
