Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

    The Thang: “Stranger Things”

    We ran west through the woods to the field by the school bus garage. Mailman set up two areas, one was the “normal” world (in the field), the other the “upside-down” (the pavement by the bus garage) from the T.V. show Stranger Things. The main character of that show is named Eleven. So we did Eleven reps of the exercises.

    Each area/world had 4 stations. The stations consisted of 11 Merkins, 11 Jump squats, 11 High Knees (4 is 1), and 11 Burpees. For the normal world we bear crawled station to station (50 yards). In the upside-down we crab walked until Mailman called an audible and we ended up lunging between each station.

    After going through each area/world, we lined up on the field and did partner wheelbarrows, 50 yards out, switch, 50 yards in. Finally we ran back to the flag and did 2 rounds of Guantanamo to end.
