What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

Came out to cover the Q for Bongo (Another Legend of F3 P-Burg). The Ruck was pretty basic, but slow moving because of the snow and the abundance of ‘Ice Ice Baby”! We headed towards downtown on Front St. but only made it as far as Pine St and headed back. Kept up a good pace for our footing. Did the COT. I was the 6 and just babbled on about myself in an inspirational way. We ended in Prayer thanking God for all our gifts and abilities and Prayed for Woodstock’s wife, as well as the Military and first responders. Awesome to lead the men of F3 again in the fridged conditions!!
