Bootcamp style workout that uses the track, plenty of open grass, and a large parking lot. Meet at the basketball courts!
Today we celebrated the 16th birthday of Beaker’s son in F3 fashion, with a workout inspired by the number 16.
Warm-Up lap around Timberstone
!6 Burpees
Set of exercises – 16 merkins, 16 jump squats, 16 klinger kicks, 16 Jumping Jacks (aka Side Straddle Hops)
Mozied over to the back of the building where some cones were set-up. Split everyone into teams of 5. Had relay races there. First relay race was bear crawl down and back. While waiting for your teammates everyone was to Lunge on their own. Team that won the relay got to choose a prize, a set of 16 exercises to do.. Team 5 won the first relay and chose to do 16 donkey kicks.
Back to the flag for another set of 16 merkins, 16 squat jumps, 16 klinger kicks, 16 jumping jacks then back to the back of the building for relay races. This time it was Frogger style, but you only had to race one leg. Winning team was again team 5 and they chose 16 Lieutenant Dan’s for their exercise prize.
Back to the flag for another set of 16 merkins, 16 squat jumps, 16 klinger kicks, 16 jumping jacks. Then back for a crab walk relay. Only had to crab walk one leg of the course this time. This time won by team 1 which chose to do ???? (I can’t remember) as their prize.
Back to the flag for another set of 16 merkins, 16 squat jumps, 16 klinger kicks, 16 jumping jacks. Then back for a karaoke relay, down and back. Had to plank while you were waiting. Won by team 5 AGAIN. They chose horsey ups. But in true Kitty style he changed the horsey up to a 4 count, so we really did 32!
Back to the flag where Hedgehog suggested that we do 16 diamond merkins to celebrate Jack’s birthday. Which of course we did. Thanks for the extra push Hedgehog.
