PAX: Belding, Hedgehog, Cogsworth, Bluto, Jar-Jar, Sideshow, Ticket

With an opening in the Q schedule and the Site Q on the IR, Trinity put in the call to the PAX to see if anyone wanted to run on Friday. YHC was planning on running and agreed to lead. Little did YHC know, Hedgehog and Belding were already planning to get a run in. So, YHC decided to audible on the time and place to join up with Hedgehog and Belding. It was the day after a holiday after all, and an extra hour or so of sleep was definitely welcomed. But, the audible confused so many. Could have been the extra event calendar. Could have been the tryptophan. Could have even been some Wild Turkey. It is hard to tell. But, YHC was pleased to see all men accounted for at 7 am at Pacesetter. That said, YHC did not check to see if anyone showed up at Timberstone at 5:30, Highland at 6, Maplewood at 6:30, or Tamo at 6:48. Also, Splinter didn’t share the call in number for the conference call, so hopefully nobody was waiting on that.

YHC welcomed the men and, with a relatively new PAX (Jar-Jar), went thru the mission and 5 core principles of F3. YHC had confirmed with Hedgehog the night before that he and Belding already had a route planned. Hedgehog explained the route to the PAX and advertised it as 4 miles. But, that didn’t turn out to be the case.

We ran from the playground at Pacesetter toward Brint Crossings, turned around at the path to the concession stand by Fields 1-4, headed back toward Fossil Park, down the path to and across Brint to Sylvan Prairie, to the water tower in Sylvan Prairie and back to Pacesetter Park thru Brint Crossings. When we were at the water tower and already at 2.5 miles, YHC was beginning to suspect some false advertising. That Hedgehog always pushes the PAX to be better. So, I’m sure it was with good intentions. Also, there was some extra mileage due to the initial start in the wrong direction and going back for the 6. Mileage for the planned route was probably about 4.25 miles for future reference.

After all of the PAX returned to Pacesetter, we circled up for COR, NOR, and Know the 6 (Hedgehog EH’d by Belding, loves the fellowship), Announce-o-Rama (Holiday Party, Cherry Street Mission on Sunday, Winter Challenge starting 1/1), and Prayer Intentions for Bluto and his M during short remainder of pregnancy and uneventful delivery, Delverne family, First Responders keeping us safe so others could enjoy Thanksgiving, and grateful for what we have. We then ended in a BOM as YHC offered up the PAX intentions.

YHC was honored to lead this morning!
