Well, the weatherman actually got it right, and we were greeted with a couple inches of snow on the ground and a steady snow fall throughout the beatdown. Suffice it to say, the weather conditions had zero impact on the PAX. These 10 men pushed through and didn’t let their mind play any tricks on them! YHC believes that the weather will only make our PAX even stronger!!

The 5 core principles of F3 were explained, and a disclaimer was given. Special attention was paid to making sure each PAX was aware of the slippery conditions and knowing where each step was falling.

Warm Up: 1/4 mile lap around the parking lot, marked by cones and chem lights. Next we did 50 yds of the following exercises: Side Shuffle, Karaoke, High Knees, and Butt Kicks. Finished off the warm up with Side Straddle Hops x 20 and Imperial Walkers x 20, both in cadence.

The Thang: Running based workout as follows:
-1/4 mile run followed by 15 Flutter Kicks (2 is 1) and 20 Lunges (10 per leg), then immediately another 1/4 mile run followed by 20 Squats and 20 Merkins. Once finished, plank and wait for the 6. Repeato and then Repeato again!!
-100 yd sprint x 2 followed by 50 yd bear crawl. Then we did 15 Flutter Kicks in cadence. Next was 60 second plank followed by 30 second side planks.
-Finished off the beatdown with one final 100 yd sprint.
Total distance covered was 2.25 miles, and 467 calories burned (at least according to my watch!)

    COT: Countorama and Nameorama.
Prayer Intentions: Bluto gave a heartfelt message about how his consistent posting has helped him push through some medical issues. His #98 and #99 were today!! TClaps Bluto!! Splinter asked for prayers for his wife. Brita had prayers of thanks that the Colonel was OK after he slid off the road today and for safe travels for everyone out on the roads. Friday asked for prayers for Colt DelVerne who is dealing with brain cancer. Honeymoon asked for prayers for his students and for all kids that don’t have positive male role models in their life. YHC closed out with a prayer about how each day is an opportunity for us to gain something positive and spread God’s love.

    Moleskin:
-Lots of mumble chatter throughout the whole workout which was great! Started out about the weather and progressed to how important it was to live in the moment.
-As we were planking, Brita was asking people about what they were thankful for. Great way to pass those 2 minutes!!
-COT was nearly taken out by some St. Francis kid driving a BMW! Who knew that Pacesetter parking lot was the place to go to do doughnuts in the snow??!! Brita was ready to defend the COT with shovel flag in hand!! AYE!!
-Was kind of concerned that I might be the only one that showed up tonight because of the weather. However, I was humbled to see all the cars filing in! I should’ve known better – this PAX is iron. And as we all know, Iron Sharpens Iron!! #ISI
-Sign up to Q at Pride Rock!! You won’t regret it!!

Forgot to mention this, but TClaps to Ticket! Despite being on the IR, and it being freezing cold and snowing, he came out and supported the PAX. He was taking pictures and encouraging everyone. Appreciate it, Ticket!! #HIM
