   3/14/2018 Pride Rock Backblast

   PAX: Brita, The Mickey, Mr. Belding, Hegdehog, Sipe, Ticket, H2, Shakira, Bambi, Gadget, Pixar
   QIC: Klinger

   As the sun was setting in the West, 12 brave men descended upon Pride Rock, eager to become better men. YHC was happy to oblige! Started with the 5 core principles and a disclaimer
   Warm up: SSH x 20, Windmill x 20, Imperial Walker x 20, Flutter Kick x 20 all done in cadence
   The Thang: Conquer the Beast (6 stations, 6 reps at each station, 6 rotations)
   -YHC set 5 cones spaced 25 yards apart
   -PAX ran to cone #1, performed 6 reps of an exercise, ran to cone #2 and did 6 more reps, ran to cone #3 and did 6 more reps, ran to cone #4 and turned around and ran to cone #3, performed 6 reps of an exercise, ran to cone #2 and did 6 more reps, ran to cone #1 and did 6 more reps, and then ran to start point. Plank for the 6.
   -Rotation 1: Burpees
   -Rotation 2: Sit Ups
   -Rotation 3: Lunges
   -Rotation 4: Merkins
   -Rotation 5: V Ups
   -Rotation 6: Jump Squats
   -Mosey around parking lot
   Bear Crawl Relay Race: PAX were split into 2 teams of 6. Cones were place about 15 yards in front of each team. Each man had to bear crawl around the cone and return to their team who were waiting in plank position. Team 1 (Brita, Bambi, Shakira, H2, Gadget, Hedgehog) took the first round. Team 2 (Pixar, The Mickey, Mr. Belding, Sipe, Ticket, Klinger) took round 2. Tie breaker went to Team 1.

   Know the 6 – Bambi got his name because of his love for hunting and fishing. Is currently EH’ing the guy that EH’d him to come back to the PAX. Said he’s lost 50 pounds!
   BOM led by YHC. Shared a story about how a song heard recently at a concert really made him take a hard look at his relationship with his M and how important it was to make an effort every day to show her how much she is loved.    -Not sure if he was trying to get a post in for the BS Challenge, but Froman drove up to the PAX before we started. Never got out of his car, so not sure it’ll count. He did have a long conversation with Ticket, so we’ll have to check the stats.
   -YHC recently listened to a F3 Roundtable podcast about the importance of a disclaimer prior to each workout. All Q’s should include it!
   -Mickey was worried about the Beast, but YHC assured him it would be easier the second time around. And guess what? He slayed it!
   -It was weird to start a beatdown in the daylight but good to see everyone’s faces for a short time. Brita kept going on about the beautiful sunset. Thinks Pride Rock is without a doubt the best AO in F3 Toledo – can’t argue with that!
   -Gadget is hands down the fastest bear crawler in the world.
   -Ticket put in the work tonight…even got him to take off that 3 in 1 jacket!
   -If you haven’t been to Pride Rock, you’re missing out. Make an effort to get there – you won’t be disappointed!
