    Stonewolfe Beatdown

    QIC: Wake

PAX: Gap, Sideshow, Cogsworth, Mr. Belding, El Chapo

Five PAX joined Wake in the gloom on a beautiful Wednesday morning in late December for a chilly beatdown at Stonewolfe. The temperature reading was right around -2F, but that didn’t stop us. Men came dressed ready to face the work, and the work got done by both the PAX, and the plow trucks clearing the lots all around us. The packed, uneven snow covered parking lot added for some extra core work as we sought steady footing.

    The Thang:
Just to get the blood flowing:
    10 burpees – 8 count IC
    15 Merkins – IC
    25 SSH – 4 count IC

Pass the Pack (every other pax has a rucksack) Circle up- partners face each other, IC 4 count to 10 pass right, 4 count to 10 pass left. Then, PAX faced out and repeato both ways.

Get 600 reps in as partners
    100 burpees
    200 Merkins
    300 SSH

Parter hustles (walk/jog/run-UvsU) approximately 25 yards down with pack overhead and back carrying pack while other partner works to get reps in.

Circle of Pain-each PAX chooses an exercise for group to complete:
    6 forward lunges each leg
    10 flutter kicks each leg
    20 LBCs
    10 diamond merkins
    10 American hammers each side
    10 mountain climbers (4 count)

    Count-O-Rama, Name-O-Rama
COT – Prayer requests for Cogsworth’s mother-in-law in hospital in FL, Colt’s health

We were reminded this morning of how blessed we are to have a warm home. As much as I was concerned about being out in the cold to Q the beatdown, once the PAX came together and the work was being done, the issue of cold weather faded as the encouragement from the PAX to push on surrounded the AO. I’m always encouraged by the men of F3 and what a bunch of like-minded men can accomplish no matter the circumstances. As always, it was an honor to lead.
