Boot camp style workout.
Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.
Welcome to the Zoo.
Warm-Up with Side Straddle Hops, Windmills and Chain Breakers, then a 1/2 lap around the park.
5 minutes at each station. Go around and read off each exercise and show the unfamiliar ones before starting.
Station 1 – Cinder Blocks
10 Thrusters
15 Cinder Block Swings
20 Curls
25 Chest Press (laying on the ground)
30 Klinger Kicks – 2 is 1
Repeato until the 5 minutes is up
Station 2
10 Inchworms
15 Copperhead Merkins (aka 123-up merkin)
20 Gorilla Humpers
25 Dancing Bear – (2 is 1) – lifting hands and alternate feet off the ground
30 Crunchy Frogs
Repeato until the 5 minutes is up
Station 3
10 Alligator Merkins
15 Horsey Ups
20 Donkey Kicks
25 Crab Cakes (2 is 1) – from crab walk position touch hand to opposite knee
30 Duck Walk – walk out 15 paces and then back 15 paces
Repeato until the 5 minutes is up
After completing first set moved over to the grassy area and Murder Bunny to the cone and Mass Murder Bunny back.
After completing second set moved over to the grassy area and Bear Crawled to the cone and Crawl Beared back
After completing third set moved over to the grassy area and Alligator Walked there and back.
Went back to the parking lot and did another round of exercises at each station. Nothing in the grassy area in-between. Took the full hour.
