Affectionately coined Mount Doom since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Weight training workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 60 minute beatdown.
On a normal chilly morning 6 brave PAX from F3 met at Mount Doom to get in some work. We did a mix of cardio (to help stay warm) and some normal weight training. He’s a quick summary.
Warm-Up
20 side straddle hops, 10 merkins, 10 LBC’s, 1 lap around the building
Work-Out with Cinder Blocks
For the fist set we did the same 3 exercises, changing form 10 of each in round 1, 15 of each in round 2, 20 of each, then 15 of each, then 10. So a total of 70 of each exercise for those of you who like to count. So up and down the pyramid so to speak. Between each round to help us warm-up, work on cardio, and give our muscles a break we mozied over to cones set up in the parking lot to do a set of suicides. In the first set we did curls, cinder block swings and chest presses.
Then we too a lap around the building
For the second set we again went up and down the pyramid, with the same number of reps, with the suicides between each set. This time we did incline merkins, squats and tricep dips.
