This is the first convergence beatdown of 2020 and will be dedicated to celebrate the F3 Inclusive Playground Initiative and Winter Challenge 2020.

Note: Media will be invited to promote the Playground Project and F3 but this will serve as a standard convergence beatdown.

Co-Q’s: Huckleberry, Thai Guy, Sipe, Beaker, Pacer and Romano.

The workout will be divided into 3 “Playgrounds” including: Beatdown Checkers, Dice Roll and Dress the Q for Winter Challenge.

Second F at Lamplight Cafe in downtown Perrsyburg, 121 W. Indiana Ave.

    OPENING​ (Media) 6:30 a.m. – 6:40 a.m.
    Welcome to F3 (Fitness, Fellowship and Faith)…this is a special convergence of our Sylvania, Toledo and Perrysburg AO’s dedicated to the Inclusive Playground Initiative AND Kickoff to Winter Challenge 2020.

    The Mission of F3:
    To plant, serve and grow men’s small workout groups, in order to reinvigorate male community leadership.

    Principles:
    Free of Charge.
    Open to all Men.
    Held Outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.
    Led by Men on a rotating basis who participate in the workout with no training or certification-meaning you must be aware of your own limitations.
    We end with a Circle of Trust.

    Summary of Playground
    – 25k goal to donate to the build of the playground right here where we are working out today
    – 750k total projected cost
    – Build in Summer of this year (2020)
    – Inclusive Playground – removes boundaries in traditional parks such as poured rubber
    vs. mulch for wheelchair accessibility and special equipment for kids with special needs to play with their able bodied friends and will be the first of its kind in Wood County OR Allowing those with special needs a place to play with their able-bodied friends and will be the first of its kind in Wood County
    – 1. Individual contributions, 2. corporate donation, 3. Concert fundraiser on March 14th 2020 at Graystone Hall in Perrysburg featuring the Skittle Bots

    Summary of Winter Challenge
    – Annual challenge to encourage F3 participation through the winter months
    – Jan. 1st – March 31st
    – $15 to participate.. link in GroupMe to pay and enter (Ticket is collecting)
    – 65 points to complete… split between fitness 30pts minimum, fellowship 5pts minimum
    and faith 3pts minimum.
    – T-Shirt if you are successful in getting the 65 points
    – For those who don’t finish your $ will be donated to Cherry Street Mission

    WARM UP ​(All Together in Cadence) 6:40 a.m. – 6:46 a.m. ​
    ● 25 Side Saddle Hops (25 for the $25,000 goal to raise)
    ● 25 Windmills
    ● 25 Squats

    COUNT​ 6:46 a.m. – 6:50 a.m. ​
    ● Count off by 3 to create three groups.
    ● Each group will be led by a pair of Qs from Perrsyburg, Sylvania and Toledo.
    ● Each group will count off by 2 to create two teams in each group.

    THE THANG:
    Each group will spend 15 minutes at each “Playground”.
    Q’s will stay at each playground and PAX will mozy to the next playground every 15 minutes “Playgrounds”:
    1. Beatdown Checkers
    2. Dice Roll Playground
    3. Dress the Q for Winter Challenge
    ● 6:50 a.m. – 7:05 a.m. ● 7:05 a.m. – 7:20 a.m. ● 7:20 a.m. – 7:35 a.m.

    1. Beatdown Checkers Playground: 15 Minutes of Play
    ● Rules
    o Black has first play.
    o 12 exercises (1on each checker)
    o It is not a collective decision on which piece to move.
    o Jumped=everyone does the exercise listed on the bottom of the checker.
    o Kinged=everyone does 5 Burpees.
    o If you have the ability to Jump your opponent, you MUST.
    o Once Kinged, a King can move both forward and backward and diagonally in
    the same move.
    o Kings can also jump both forward and backward (diagonally) in the same turn…a
    multi-direction multi-jump.
    o Whoever has the most number of pieces after 15 minutes wins
    While waiting, do the following as the music changes: o Air Presses o Plank o Squat
    ● Mozy to the next playground after the 15 minutes is up

    2. Dice Roll Playground: 15 Minutes of Play
    Use one Large Die to throw to determine exercise (Bourbon’s). Rotate through the group as to who throws the dice
    Exercises include:
    1. Tug of War (Full Body – arms and legs)
    ● Two teams – Play best of 3
    ● Objective is to pull the ribbon past the opposing teams goal line
    2. Indian Run while carrying an Ice Bucket (Full Body – arms and legs)
    ● Two teams – Run around the circle at Rotary Park ~1⁄4 mile track
    ● Person in front runs with ice bucket… person in the back sprints to the front and
    takes the ice bucket… the run continues until the track is completed and the
    teams return back to the starting point
    3. 10 Burpees (Full Body – arm and legs)
    ● 6Count=1
    ● Plank, pushup, jump
    4. 25 Big Boy Sit Ups (Core)
    ● 1=1
    ● Situps
    5. 25 Merkins (Upper Body)
    ● 1=1
    ● Pushups
    6. 25 V-Up Roll-Up (Core)
    ● 4Count=1
    ● Start laying on back with arms extended above head, full sit-up touching your
    toes, as you are returning, when mid back hits the ground, raise legs to 45
    degrees and hold legs and crunch up and touch your toes
    ● Note: Remember your number 1 or 2 from the beginning count off b/c some of these
    are team exercises (ex: tug of war)
    ● Mozy to the next playground after the 15 minutes is up

    3. Dress the Q for Winter Challenge Playground: 15 Minutes of Play
    ● Rules
    ● Both Qs will take off their gloves, hat, buff (handkerchief), shoes and coat and stand
    at one end 20 yards from the clothing.
    ● At the opposite end of the 20 yards will be a White Board with instructions as to
    what exercise goes with which article of clothing.
    ● The full team must do the corresponding exercise for an article of clothing in
    Cadence.
    ● The team then takes that article of clothing and runs back to their Q and one team
    member puts on the article of clothing on the Q while the rest of the team does
    Burpees.
    ● This repeats until the Q is “Dressed for Winter Challenge”
    ● Exercices :
    1. Glove: 15 Merkins
    2. Glove: 30 LBC’s
    3. Hat: 20 Lt. Dans (2 is 1)
    4. Buff: 30 Big Boy Sit-ups
    5. Coat: 20 V-Up Roll Up (4 count =1) 6. Shoe: 20 up Downs
    7. Shoe: Bicycle Kicks (2 is 1)
    ● Mozy to the next playground after the 15 minutes is up
