Today’s workout was focused on how to perform the basics of leading a workout. We spent time talking through the fundamentals:
F3 = Fitnes, Faith and Fellowship
Mission: Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
    Core Principles (in order):
    Are free of charge
    Are open to all men
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
End with a Circle of Trust

We moseyed to the parking lot and spent some time talking through how to properly lead cadence. Here’s the formal delivery from Dredd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT7afkk2toA
We then split into two groups and gave each pax an opportunity to practice leading cadence on various exercises. In between each exercise we ran approximately 40 yards down and back. It was great to see guys get out of their comfort zone and step in front of the group. Everyone definitely got better!

We wrapped up with CoR and NoR.
    Sideshow was our Six.
We discussed WHY proper cadence is so important: To show respect to our military and to leave no doubt in anyone’s mind just how awesome F3 Toledo is!
CoT – Prayers for safety in such lousy weather, our troops and first responders and anyone that is without shelter this weekend.

Thank you to all the men that made it out this morning in less than ideal conditions. It’s an honor to have an opportunity to lead and learn from each of you.
