Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.
Started off with counting off and then broke into two groups of five.
It was Veterans Day so there were 9 stations that represented the 9 (probably could have been more) wars that America was involved in. Did work at the stations then ran down the hill, at the bottom of the hill we did 22 Side straddle hops. 22 to represent 11/11. The goal was to get around the stations twice, but I believe we missed that by 3 stations. The stations were as follows:
Revolutionary War (1775) – 17 Merkins, 7 Burpees, 5 Big boys
War of 1812 (1812) – 18 Wide Merkins, 12 Jump Squats
Civil War (1861) – 18 Horsey Ups, 6 Lt. Dans, 1 Burpee
WW I (1914) – 19 Mountain Climbers (2 is 1), 14 Klinger Kicks (2 is 1)
WW II (1939) – 19 Side straddle hops (in cadence), 3 Burpees, 9 inch worms
Korean War (1950) – 19 Bonnie Blairs (2 is 1), 50 LBCs
Vietnam War (1964) – 19 Diamond Merkins, 6 Donkey Kicks, 4 V ups
Gulf War & War on Terror (1990 – 1991 and 2001 – Present) – 10 Carolina Dry Docks, 10 Squats, 10 Merkins, 10 Big Boys
Ended with the COT And NOR. Mole was the 6, spoke of how this group has pushed him physically in ways that he didn’t expect, but most importantly the bonds he has made through this group. Friendships he didn’t know he needed or would have. Keeps him coming back.
