Harroun Park (Ruckus)

   The Thang:
   PAX circled up for the principles and disclaimer. YHC led the group south on Main Street to Ravine en route to the Flower Hospital parking structure. 1/2 way there Belding caught up to the group and let us know there was another late arrival. It ended up being Deuce, and we then knew why we needed to tie him to the rest of the PAX. Upon arrival at Flower, PAX ascended the parking decks until we did an about face on the icy upper level.

   Exiting the parking garage, we cut to the Flower walking trail, hoping to merge with the new section of the Harroun Trail. Much to Mickey’s dismay, the connection was not complete and we had to trudge through about 100 yards of mud to make it to the Harroun Trail.

   We made our way to the end of the Harroun Trail, where we then made our return route westbound on Monroe, briefly memorializing the spot where “the dragging” occurred weeks earlier.

   The remainder of the ruck was uneventful. We reached the Harroun parking lot after 55 minutes and 3.5 miles.

   COR of 9 followed by the COT.
   Chapoo was the six, thankful for this PAX getting him through a rough stretch over the past year.
