Twas the Tuesday before Christmas, and all through the Common, F3 PAX was a stirring, a Beatdown was on. Enough failed poetry! Absolutely a great night for a Beatdown. We started out with a short warm-up run and then went over the 4 workout stations. The first station and agility cycle of river cross run (side ways jump steps over a 3 foot wide area), ladder steps, and a zig-zag run around 5 cones. We cycled through 3 times at station one. The second station was around the fire pit where we did 25 decline merkins, 25 dips, and 25 incline merkins. Station 3 was in the parking lot where we did 4 40 yard sprints 50 squats and 2 30 yard car pushes. Station 4 was 50 bicycles (from your 6), 50 (revolutions) back to back ball hand-offs, and 25 partner big boy sit-ups with a ball exchange at the top. After that we went repeato. Most of the 2 person groups made it through at least 6 stations. Great work by everyone in pulling off my crazy ideas. We ended in the circle of trust. All 11 PAX who started the Beatdown, ended the Beatdown. Jeff ‘Thermo’ watts was the 6. It was his 3rd Beatdown. He went over how he oversaw glass Melts in his job and that is how he got the name ‘Thermo’. I was surprised to find out that ‘Tupac’ EH-ed him (several times). He was enjoying the workout so far. In Announcements Tupac went over the New Years Day Convergence, and the Winter Respect Challenge. I our prayers we prayed for Digits who pasted when she was hit by a car during an FIA workout. We also prayed for those with stress at home and for those who are in need of help. After the prayers 8 of us ended up at Bar Louie for some 2nd F. In attendance at the Beatdown were Thai-Guy, Huckleberry, Charmin, Windex, B-Dubs, Thermo, Chew-Toy, Tupac, Patriot, Houdini, and Huffy. As always, it was a privilege honor to lead the PAX!!
