Affectionately coined Mount Doom since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Weight training workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 60 minute beatdown.

Intro:
17 men appeared in the gloom. Shared with the group what I believe makes a great workout. Play is huge part. In the spirit of that, we broke into two football teams. Blutes and Poodle picked their squads with the Mick going in the second round. (I thought he’d be picked higher)
We broke up into offensive and defensive units. Group A (offense) ran counterclockwise around Northview with the football to preform the 10 body weight circuits.
Group B (defense) ran clockwise. And stripped the ball from the offense.

The thang:
Two teams Group A started counterclockwise w 4 circuits (focused on uppers)
– 20 hand release merkins
– 15 Plank Jacks
– 15 Smurf Jacks
– 20 Mountain climbers
At the north side 5 burpees (1st lap). 10 burpees (2nd lap)
Group B started w 3 hill sprints sound side of school.
Then
– 25 Klinger kicks
– 10 Air Squats (sit in the squat for 3 count)
– 15 Carolina Dry docks
– 20 side lunges (1 is 1)
We got in 2 laps before the beatdown ended.
COT:
Brute was the sixth, which he revealed his real nickname— Brutus.
Announcements followed by prayers for the troops heading overseas, for the tragedy at Bullocks high school and for those sick and suffering inside the group and outside
