    Inaugural 2-hr pre-beatdown ruck in Sylvania.

    After going over F3’s mission and core principles, the PAX took off for what would become a 6.11 mile ruck with a 60# sandbag and the shovel flag as our coupons.

    There was much mumble chatter ending in “that’s what she said” punchlines as well as enough flatulence to embarrass farm animals. Thankfully, most of that was downwind, but sometimes they just lingered and had to be walked out.

    At any rate, as we were heading back towards Northview, we came across what appeared to be 3 nefarious men. They seemed to be militia-in-training, for they appeared to be lost. Despite carrying a flag and looking tough, they were quite friendly. Maybe a little to friendly, since after we said our courteous hello’s we quickly moved onward back towards the high school.

    While the original route planned for 5.5 miles, the PAX were zealous and not fully winded so YHC decided to take a lap around the school that added bout another half mile.

    We ended the ruck closing in with NOR, COR and a COT and prayers were offered up for our troops, our M’s and 2.0s, and for safe travels for those going on spring break.

    After going over the mission of F3 and the 5 core principles, the PAX got to work. The theme of this workout was Rucks & Zeppelins, so naturally the entire workout was BLIMPS with your rucks on.

    As Balco rolled up during our 2nd warm-up exercise, he was warmly greeted. It was quite apparent how excited he was to join us as his water (bladder) broke and the liquid gushed all over his clothes and the ground.

    After a few quick chuckles, the PAX realized that Jimmy Dean was not quite the nice guy they had originally thought. Every exercise required them to take the ruck off, then back on, then back off, you get the idea.

    Once the warm-up was done, the PAX did an Indian ruck around the school (about a half mile), and moseyed to the field at the bottom of the hill.

    From there, the workout was an upward ladder of BLIMPS with either a bear crawl, backwards run, or low crawl up the hill.

    As we started our low army crawl up the hill, the sun was coming up and shone down upon us, giving us the strength to finish our uphill battle.

    We finished on time with a COR, NOR and COT.

    COT: Prayers for the troops, Gap, Balco to land a new job, Colt Del Verne, and those traveling for spring break

    THE THANG

    QIC explained partner rule and that it was going to be in effect for entire workout with 5 x 8ct body builder as penalty for breaking it. Thankfully, this never had to happen the entire morning.

    Warm-Up
    SSH x 10 IC
    Ruck Curls x 10 IC
    Flutter Kicks x 25 IC
    Lunges x 10 IC (2 is 1)
    Shoulder Presses x 10 IC

    Indian Ruck around the school and then mosey to the bottom of Faith Hill

    BLIMPS is the program (with rucks)
    – Burpees
    – Lunges (2 is 1)
    – Imperial Walkers (2 is 1)
    – Merkins
    – Plank Jacks
    – Squats

    1st Round is 2 each, then bear crawl up the hill
    2nd Round is 4 each, then bear crawl up the hill
    3rd Round is 6 each, then run backwards up the hill
    4th Round is 8 each, then run backwards up the hill
    5th Round is 10 each, then low crawl up the hill
