Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.

The Thang: It was another beautiful & humid morning at Faith Hill. 16 highly motivated and highly dedicated pax showed up & showed out this morning. YHC issued the disclaimer and the 5 core principles. We were blessed with an FNG this morning so that was great. The Q wrote the WOD on the pavement in chalk to simplify the explanation. We each teamed up with another pax we don’t normally workout. YHC’s speaker was having some issues but we were able to get a quick warmup in by doing side straddle hops to the classic “Song 2” by Blur. Each team had to do 100 reps of each exercise. One person would run to a far off destination while the other did 20. We then switched back & forth till each exercise was complete. The workout was:
    100 big boy situps
    100 flutter kicks
    100 squats
    100 merkins
    100 side straddle hops
    100 Imperial Walkers
We then laid shoulder to shoulder with legs elevated to 6 inches. We passed a 40lb cinderblock back & forth 5 times. After this we did wall sits shoulder to shoulder and passed the cinder block back & forth 5 times.

We ended with Namarama, Counterama, Know your 6 and naming the FNG.
Scrooge was actually the 6 but YHC decided to bring Bullock into the circle and heap some praise on him about his awesome physical transformation and how much his friendship and encouragement means to the PAX. He is a HIM for sure and it’s a pleasure to call him a friend. We were blessed with an FNG who was throwing up or dry heaving (we couldn’t tell as he was hiding behind a Ford Fusion). We decided to give him the nickname “Splash.” Great work today everyone!

    Always an honor!
