Warmup: 20 SSHs and mosey to open space for Tha Thang.
Thang: 75-yard field with three PT checkpoints at 25-yard increments. PAX performed 20 reps of PT @ each checkpoint before running back to the starting point for 5 diamond merkins. First two moves were combined for the third checkpoint:
Round 1: 20 shoulder taps (2 is 1); 20 stump huggers; 20 shoulder tap + stump hugger (stump hugger + tap each shoulder = 1)
Round 2: 20 surrenders; 20 jump squats; 20 surrender + jump squat
Round 3: 20 American hammers (2 is 1); 20 crunchy frog; 20 American hammer + crunchy frog (2 hammers + 1 frog = 1)
Round 4: 20 mtn climbers (2 is 1); 20 merkins; 20 mtn climber + merkin (mtn climber [2 is 1] + merkin = 1)
Round 5: 20 calf raises; 20 forward lunges (2 is 1); 20 calf raise + lunge (1 calf raise + lunge [2 is 1] = 1)
After completing all 5 rounds, Pax ran suicides with 10 merkins at each point before finishing with a minute plank on the starting line.
COT: Speedo was the 6 and discussed the importance of keeping fit as a member of the military. “I don’t want to end up in the ‘Chair Force’ so I gotta keep coming out.” Aye! Prayers were offered for a member of the St. Ursula community who passed away suddenly and his family; for our military (past and present); and for those struggling financially and/or mentally due to the pandemic.
