PAX: Geppetto (QIC), Landslide (RESPECT), Woodstock, Bourbon, Mile High, Chanel
Workout: Go the Distance
No FNG’s so right into F3 Mission and Core Principles:
F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission –Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
• Be free of charge
• Be open to all men
• Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
• Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
• End with a Circle of Trust
The “Thang”: Warm up with one lap around soccer fields and back to start. Assign stations to the PAX and we will rotate based on when the person at Station #1 (who will run the same route as the warmup lap) gets back to the group. AMRAP at each station as follows:
Circuit 1:
1.Run a lap, 2. Plank, 3. Squats, 4. LBC’s, 5. Lunges, 6. American Hammers
After everyone cycled through, we switched it up a little with the following stations:
Circuit 2:
1. Run a lap, 2. Plank, 3. Jump Rope, 4. American Hammers, 5. Side Straddle Hops, 6. Freddie Mercury’s
Finished with one more lap as a group.
Ended with:
Count-O-Rama – Six
Name-O-Rama
The “Six”: Chanel. Named by Dauber based off the true pronunciation of his last name Colón. Not a morning person. Likes to stay up late. But comes out each morning because if he hits the “snooze” he feels like he is letter others down. Loves the encouragement and support from the group setting. Wouldn’t get up this early to work out on his own. AYE!
Announcements – Toy and clothes donations still ongoing. Dinner at Cherry Street tonight followed by a special beatdown at Promenade Park. Continue to encourage PAX to post at FoD and continue to EH those from Pburg and Maumee to come see what F3 is all about. FoD is a great AO. Just need to keep building participation here.
Ball of Man – Prayers for those PAX who’ve recently had children (Bambi, Bluto) and for those with babies on the way (Charmin, Forrest, and especially Coal). Prayers for Shakira and also for Woodstock that he gets his back issues figured out, so he can get to 100%. Prayers for all to take the time to remember the true meaning of the season which is to celebrate the birth of Jesus. In his name we pray. Amen.
Spreadsheets from the Gloom: 27 degrees, low wind. Perfect morning for a workout. Jump rope was a little stiff from being in my trunk. Need to keep it indoors! We all got better today. It was an honor to lead.
