    Geppetto says:

Workout: F3 Chutes and Ladders Take 2
    Date: 9/25/19
Location: Field of Dreams – Rolf Park – Maumee, OH
    QIC: Geppetto
PAX: 7 total – Crab Legs, Hannibal, Dutch, Woodstock, Mercy, Venom, Geppetto,
No FNG’s, so right into Mission and Principles.
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission –Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principals of F3 are that it must:
    • Be free of charge
    • Be open to all men
    • Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
    • Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
    • End with a Circle of Trust

The “Thang”: Warm up: (20) 4 ct SSH in cadence. (15) 4ct Windmills in cadence. Ascending/Descending ladder 10-5 of Merkins and Squats.

Game of Chutes and Ladders. Board had an exercise and number of reps in each square. Woodstock, Venom and Mercy were the red team represented by and Imperial Star Destroyer game piece and YHC, Crab Legs, Hannibal and Dutch were the blue team represented by a Millennium Falcon game piece. Teams took turns rolling and all PAX performed the exercise and reps. Winning team would choose an exercise and reps for the losing team to perform. After a half hour of gameplay, neither team had reached the finish and the game was a draw. We will have to try this again and hopefully a winner is declared.

We ended in a Circle of Trust with Count-O-Rama, Name-O-Rama, The Six, Announcements and a Ball of Man with prayer. Crab Legs was the Six and shared his story about how he got his name based on a Vegas trip with multiple failed attempts at an all you can eat buffet. He enjoys the fellowship and the impact we make on the community of Toledo. A prayer of thankfulness and gratefulness to have the physical ability to exercise and for God to bless us throughout the rest of the week.

    Moleskin/Spreadsheet from the Gloom:
    • Mercy put in some Rooster work before the beatdown
    • Need to bring this to Battlefield which would give us an hour and a better chance to determine a winner!
    • High 50’s low wind. Chilly. Fall is here! At least in the morning!
    • Realized I spelled “chutes” as “shoots” in the event. Good ole Bedford education.
