What the ruck is a ruck?  A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

Welcome – F3 Mission and 5 Core Principles

Ruck with weighted packs, one Stars and Stripes shovel flag. We headed out around Fort Meigs on the trails to cut up Rapids Rd. and proceeded to cross the Maumee-Perrysburg Bridge. We then rucked the riverwalk at Sidecut down to Blue Grass Island. We crossed through the river to the island and rucked to the beach side. We gained a coupon of an old tire Cobra found in the river the day before and carried it all the way back to be properly disposed of. We rucked from the tip of the island through the Maumee River to the Perrysburg shore at the Davis Overlook. Upon reaching the Davis trail we added more coupons of several logs from the woods. We rucked up the Overlook hill and then deposited the logs into the woods. We proceeded down River Rd. and back to Fort Meigs where we still had a few minutes for some PT. 10 8-Count Body Builders, Continuous Flutter Kicks while doing 30 Pack Presses, and 15 Pack Squat Thrusts.

Total ruck distance – over 3 miles.

    Count-o-Rama, Name-o-Rama, COT.

Prayer intentions for men stepping up to do more within their families, healthy babies on the way, and for men to follow God’s plan for them even when they can’t fully see it like these men followed each other in the gloom. Prayer by Cobra to close out.
