Shops at Fallen Timbers

boot camp, Perrysburg

Boot camp style workout at the Shops at Fallen Timbers. Group will meet next to the movie theater. Easy access to the Wabash Cannonball Trail for some running or rucking. Also, plenty of blacktop to make use of, not to mention a little green space across from the theater.

We went over what F# stands for, The Mission Statement, The Core Principles and The Disclaimer.
We then did a quick jog station to station the go over the work to be done. Followed that with a quick Indian Run. After that was the station work. Each lap had 4 stations Station 1 was log and leg work, station 2 was chest and triceps, Station 3 was abs and back, and station 4 was agility. 5 rounds of exercises were laid out.
    Round 1
    10 Log Curls
    33 Merkins
    33 Big Boy Sit-ups
    1 Round Trip Bear Crawl

    Round 2
    10 over the log Jumps
    33 Decline Merkins
    33 American Hammers
    1 Round Trip Hops

    Round 3
    10 Partner Log Exchanges
    33 Incline Merkins
    33 2 Count Bicycles
    1 Round Trip Cariocas

    Round 4
    10 Log Squats
    33 Dips
    33 LBCs
    1 Round Shuffles

    Round 5
    10 Jump Squats
    33 Basketball Merkins
    33 Seconds of Superman
2 Round Trips of Hard Sprints
For the last 15 minutes of the Beatdown we played Corn Hole. Rules were:
Both off Board = 10 Burpees
    1 Off 1 On = 2 Sprints
1 Off 1 in the Hole = 5 Jump Squats
Both on the Board = 10 Imperial Walkers
1 On 1 in the Hole = 5 Slow Down Merkins
Both In The Hole = 30 Seconds of Qs Stretching
    While Waiting Rotate Through:
Hold Side Plank, Tree Huggers, Leg Lift, Shoulder Press
We modified slightly as the game went on because we were so bad at throwing the bags after a beatdown and Burpees suck!
The number of 33 is significant to honor the 33 soldiers in the Continental Army lost their lives in the Battle of Fallen Timbers. Thanks to the PAX for pushing themselves as hard as they could. That is how we continue to get better. Thanks to Mercy for helping me to further improve my cadence and to Lavar who pushed me harder every time I lollygagged! Much appreciated!!We ended in the circle of trust with the same 8 that we started with. Lavar was the 6th and went over all the things that bring us out to F3. Woodstock then gave us a rundown of the Saturday AO at the Battlefield, thanks to Chew Toy, Mercy, Woodstock, and Lavar for keeping it going even when numbers were low.We ended in pray intentions for Roosters daughter, Patriot’s family and friends who have cancer and his job hunt, Chew Toy prospective Job Opportunity, and all the Emergency Responders, and Military who sacrifice their time and sometimes their lives to helps us keep freedom in the USA! God Bless them and God Bless our Country!!
