Boot camp style workout at the Shops at Fallen Timbers. Group will meet next to the movie theater. Easy access to the Wabash Cannonball Trail for some running or rucking. Also, plenty of blacktop to make use of, not to mention a little green space across from the theater.

After going over the mission of F3 and the 5 core principles, the PAX got to work. This beatdown was the Bank & Yarborough Workout from GORUCK’s August 2019 monthly challenge.
Due to time, we took a few minutes to rest and stretch before diving into the beatdown.

THE THANG:
Ruck 3 miles at a moderate pace
3 rounds of shuttle runs does with partners:
1 sprints 50m, partner holds ruck overhead
1 sprints 100m, partner holds ruck overhead
On final round, sprinters carried a sandbag or rucksack

After going over the mission of F3 and the 5 core principles, the PAX got to work. This beatdown was the MACV-SOG Workout from GORUCK’s August 2019 monthly challenge.
Since we did the challenge workout quickly, YHC added in a Bermuda Triangle of bear crawls, burpees, crab walks, hand-release merkins, crawl bears and big boy sit ups (3 laps around the triangle). The finisher was a modified Route 66, which YHC called I-15 since we did fewer parking spaces and had our rucks on.
COT, COR and NOR. Our KT6 was Lonzo who shared how since Lavar brought him out and Lonzo was one of his sons, that’s how he got his name. No one understood what was happening.
In the COT, prayers were lifted up for the FNGs, Avril whose favorite band is Nickelback and Spirit who had served as special forces in the Air Force, and for all of us to be better leaders and men.
