14 men posted in the gloom to climb up & down the ladder at the Fuse with temperatures hovering around 0 degrees. The ladder was formed by four cones at each corner of the frozen snow covered football field. PAX would complete an exercise followed by a series of laps. Seven rounds to complete the first phase of the ladder.

Round 1- 10 Burpees – 1 Lap around perimeter of football field (sprint end zone corner to corner)
    Round 2 – 20 Merkins – 2 Laps around

Round 4- 40 Plank Shoulder Taps – 4 Laps around (Top of Ladder)
    Round 5– 30 Flutter Kicks – 3 Laps around
Round 6- 20 Diamond Merkins- 2 Laps around
    Round 7- 10 Burpees- 1 Lap around

The ladder would be adjusted for the second phase exercising up & down the length of the field. PAX would complete exercises to the mid-point of the new ladder and then run to the endzone.

    Round 1- Karaoke – Run
    Round 2 – Plank Walk – Run
    Round 3 – Lunges – Run
Round 4 – Al Gore Shuffle – Run

    Round 7 – 12 (Repeato)

To finish the PAX would mosey to the shovel flag and complete the final exercises decided by members of the circle. Burpees, SSH, LBC, leg lifts.

The Ladder ended with a COT and closing prayer by Pixar. Belding was the appointed get to know your “6”. Free Pizza was passed out to all those that posted.

The Thang: 5 Brave souls headed out for some Extra Rucking fun in zero degree weather. We were blessed with no wind and 2 Frozen Ice bags that Splinter supposedly put sand in. Still not sure if Splinter knows the difference between sand and Ice but we marched along to break in Splinter’s Christmas Presents. The Pax covered 3.3 miles in just under 55 minutes while walking around the beautiful parking lots of Tuffy, Meijer and Lowe’s. We even got a nice stroll past Pixars house and saw the mighty HILL that Ozzie made his kids run up. All in all a great Ruck and a beautiful morning.

Finished with COT and Splinter giving us the 6 story.

Always an honor to lead the strong PAX even if it’s in zero degrees.
