COUNT: 7 PAX posted in the (finally) warming weather

PAX POSTING: Scrooge, Micky, Rose, Sideshow, Kitty, LaVar, Mater

YHC reviewed the 5 core principles. Started the morning off with some quick warmups. 15 SSH in cadence, 10 slow merkins in cadence, Michael Phelps OYO. Let’s do this!!

    The Thang:

BLIMPS x2 on the track. We will replace the “i” exercise with the American hammer (2 is 1). I know it doesn’t start with “i” but I don’t like imperial walkers and I couldn’t find another ab exercise that started with “i”…work with me people! We did BLIMPS 10-20-30-40-50-60 times two. Begin at the start/finish line with 10 burpees, run the straight and do 10 more burpees, run the curve and do 20 lunges (2 is 1), run the straight, 20 more lunges, run the curve, 30 American hammers, run the straight, 30 more American hammers…and so on until the BLIMPS are done two times.

Mosey to the cones by the flag. At the cones, we will do bear crawls and burpees. Starting at one set of cones, bear crawl to the other set and do 10 burpees. Bear crawl back and do 9 burpees. Keep going until we get down to 1 burpee. The modification to this is merkins instead of burpees.

Next up…half court of hell. Mosey to the tennis courts. Suicides across two tennis courts with 10 wide merkins, 10 jump squats, 10 diamond merkins and 10 lunges (2 is 1) after each suicide.

Mosey to the flag for some Mary. 20 Klinger kicks, 20 plank twists (2 is 1), 20 pedal pumps, 20 American hammers (2 is 1), 20 Dolly Parton’s, plank while the PAX count (very slowly) from 1 to 60 around the circle.

COT. There were no FNG’s. LaVar was the 6 and gave his account of his F3 experience. Prayers were said for Kitty’s (I think) wife’s cousin for a smooth delivery, safe travels for Rose, for the participants in the Glass City and for the troops. As always, it’s an honor to be a part of the group.
