    Q: Hustle

26 PAX posted including 1 FNG: Dauber, Trapeze, Klinger, Stark, Trinity, Kitty, Colonel, Worm, Froman, Cogsworth, Brita, Brute, Honeymoon, Mailman, Bluto, Mater, Stamper, Hacksaw, Rose, Splinter, Scrooge, Ollie, Sideshow, Glitch, Hustle, and FNG Mike Lagger ‘Poodle’

Da Thang: The Murph (1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 Merkins, 300 squats, finish with a 1 mile run)

Ended with prayer intentions including: victims and families of recent New York terror attack; the Whitmer high school community after a mother of a student passed away; leading our lives by example, at work, with our families, in all aspects of life; for Rose and his wife as they try to have another child, a miracle of God; for Mater and the upcoming school board election; for Cobra’s march to raise money for that bastard called ‘cancer’; for Kitty’s mother and her lifestyle change and the strength to continue to live a healthier life.

The Murph: a workout dedicated to Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who fought and died in order that we continue to be able to live in a free country.
The Murph: is it ‘just’ a workout? Yes and no. It is a workout that will get us stronger, leaner, more ‘in shape’, yes. It is also a workout in remembrance of LT. Murphy, and all current and past military personnel. Without their service and dedication, we aren’t able to live free, and no words can express our sincere and utmost gratitude to them.
The Murph: for those who posted this morning in the gloom at Ant Hill, it was about the camaraderie. The Murph at first appears an intimidating workout. Together, we push each other to finish that last set or rep, to encourage the each other when we may want to quit or take a longer rest, to ‘push’ the guy next to you. This ‘push’ and encouragement then can be used as fuel in our daily lives, for those less fortunate than ourselves. Let’s continue to be the strong pax that we are!

Thank you for the privilege of leading you men today! It is truly an honor!
