Boot camp style workout at the Shops at Fallen Timbers. Group will meet next to the movie theater. Easy access to the Wabash Cannonball Trail for some running or rucking. Also, plenty of blacktop to make use of, not to mention a little green space across from the theater.

    Tommy “Bongo” Davis says:

    Zombie Apocalypse Preparation- Strength Training

    Date: 10/26/2019

    Time: 06:30-07:30

    Q: Bongo

Pax: Smokey, Montoya, London, Jimmy Dean, T1000, Wall-E, Simmons

Pax circled up, as Q led them through F3 core principles.
Pax were then told that one of the most important things that needed to happen in the event of the Zombie Apocalypse was the ability to communicate in sync, and quietly. Q chose to use two forms of training to teach this; 21’s of SSH’s, and the other to be announced later.
First attempt of 21’s SSH’s was a failure, so Q chose the punishment of 10 burpees. A second attempt was made, and Pax achieved success.
Q then toured Pax around “The Pit of Despair”, as one Pax (Jimmy Dean) so kindly nicknamed it today, showing them the reps that were to be completed.
Pax were then split into two teams.
4 stations were staged, broken into three rounds:
    Station 1:
    Cinder block curls x25 (R1)
    Cinder block swings x 25 (R2)
    Cinder block squat thrusters x 25 (R2)
In between rounds, Pax were instructed to run to next station
    Station 2:
“Derkins” x 25 reps, then Alligator Merkin to next station (R1)
Dips x 25 reps, then Bear Crawl to next station (R2)
Incline Merkins x 25 reps, then crab walk to next station (R3)
    Station 3:
    Big Boy Sit-ups x 50 reps (R1)
    American Hammers x 25 reps (4:1)(R2)
    Little Boy Crunches x 50 reps (R3)
Pax were instructed to run around grass area to next station
    Station 4:
This is where we discussed the next form of silent communication, sign language, and in this case, “Alphabet”. Legs 6” off the ground, spelling capital letters, and decreasing by one letter each round.
All Pax were capable of finishing one round at minimum, with several completing multiple rounds.
Pax then gathered back together, where NOR, COR, know the 6, and COT.
Wall-E was the 6, who was EH’d by T1000. He earned his nickname from being in technology fields, and enjoys coming back for the push, the fellowship, and a different workout than running
Prayer intentions went out today on behalf of First Responders and our Military men, as well as any prayers that went unspoken.
It was an honor to lead these men in training for the Apocalypse, and Montoya was proud to announce later in the day that everyone avoided getting bit!

    Until next time, I remain,
    Bongo
