Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

    As YHC went to set up on the track at the Fuse, the gates were locked. A quick audible was needed. Luckily, it had been rather dry and the practice football field was going to have to do. We ran through the F3 mission and 5 Core Principles. With cinder blocks in tow, we headed over to the practice football field

    With cones spaced 20 yards apart, the PAX would do a set of 6 exercises with their blocks that expressed how they felt about the current pandemic. After completing the exercises, we Murder Bunnyed to the next cone. Before we got started on the work, we got in a little warm-up of 10 Burpee Block Jumpovers.

    20 reps each exercise

    F – Flutter Kicks with Block – 10 4-count
    C – Curls – 10 4-count
    O – Overhead Press – 10 4-count
    V – V-ups – 10 4-count
    I – Imperial Squat Walkers w/ block – 10 8-count
    D – Decline Merkins – 10 4-count

    YHC demo’d each exercise and the work began. Initially, all reps were to be done OYO. However, the PAX began to feel the need to count cadence and requested the Q to demonstrate cadence counting through the remainder of the beatdown. So starting with the second round of exercises, the PAX took turns calling cadence on each exercise
    The plan was to go down the field and back with a 20 count of each exercise. But, even the best laid plans often go awry. It quickly became clear that we may not even make it one length of the football field, let alone back. So, YHC called yet another audible and cut the reps in half after the second round.

    Even with half the reps, the beatdown was a RAK and we barely made it to the other end zone by the end time. Once we finished the work, we headed back to the parking lot for the COT.

    Ran through the COR and NOR. Irish Springs was the 6 and expressed his gratitude for the group and the impact it has had on his life. He’s looking to bring in more guys in the Hate category. Announcements and prayer requests rounded things out.

    As always, it is an honor to lead the HIM of this group.

    5 stations beatdown.
    Station 1) 20 merkins, 20 tricep dips, 15 diamond merks, 10 mike Tyson PU’s
    Station 2) 25 Klinger kicks 2-1, 25 American hammers 2-1, 25 crunchy frogs, 45 LBC’s
    Station 3) 10 man makers, 10 Chest presses, 10 burpees, 20 biceps curls.
    Station 4) 20 BBSU’s, 15 V-ups, 20 Freddy Mercury’s, 20 pickle pounders.
    Station 5) 10 Carolina Dry Docks, 10 Donkey kicks, 15 Merkins, 15 lank jack shoulder taps 2-1.

    Bagels was the six, prayers, toy drive, plasma donation.
