Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

    Trinity says:

August 10th – The Fuse (b/c Goose already filled the August 10th entry)
    Q School
    Qs – Minnie and Trinity
Pax – Bluto, Gap, Pacer, Mayor, ChewToy, Ticket, Danica, Raven, Geppetto, Rubble, Goose, Isosceles, Structure, Charlotte, Jeopardy, Hazmat, Valdez, Tweety, Klinger, Brita

The focus this morning was on the primary elements of a Q and how to effectively lead a workout. We reaffirmed the following:
What F3 stands for – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
The Mission of F3 – The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership
The 5 Core Principles (in order) –
    Are free of charge.
    Are open to all men.
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary.
End with a Circle of Trust.

Minnie articulated the importance of cadence and good exercise form by leading us through a series of basic exercise. He also offered up modifications. We then got started with the workout.

    The Thang:
Two teams, one had the push sled and the other had the pull sled. While one pax was on the sled we rotated around the group leading an exercise and practicing proper cadence structure. Upon two rounds we transitioned to a weighted indian run around school.

Appreciate everyone that made it out this morning for a more instructive beatdown than normal. Glad to see so many men taking the initiative to get better and get out of their comfort zones.
