Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

Backblast for Fartlek 101 executed on June 18, 2022 at The Fuse – Southview High School.
The Six was Palin – talked about Accountability and how that keeps him coming back – he enjoys the three F’s that F3 Toledo offers and the fellowship. He serves as a Republican on the Sylvania City Council and that is how he received his F3 Name.
PAX at the event were John Denver (Q – actually VQ event), Sideshow, Palin, Boo-Boo, Gasman, Mulcahy, Bagels, Mayor, Floppy, Red, Tupac, Speedo.
12 PAX total.
We met at 6:30 am and then moved to the track. The first lap was as a group. We warmed-up and returned to the starting position. We then split into two (2) separate teams and executed the Fartlek 101 workout. Each group moved to their respective stations. Team 1 went to Station 1 and executed the first round of exercises on the list. Team 2 went to Station 2 and executed the first round of exercises on their list. After executing the first round of the exercises, each team jogged from halfway in the straight of the track to halfway into the turn and then sprinted from halfway in the turn to halfway in the straight. Once there each Team executed round 2 of the exercises. Then jogged/sprinted to the next station. Each team did this until it was time to return to the parking lot, stretch and execute the Circle of Trust. Great weather and great day…many of the PAX went to Chik Fil-A for the 2nd F.
