Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

    It was freaking cold. 0° real feel is still a nasty temp after all these years. The 6 of us got after it though, and no one tore an acl or slipped on the ice.

    The thang:
    2 steps forward (4 lines) – broad jump burpees, then 10 Merkins
    1 step back (2 lines) – crawl bear, then 10 v-ups

    After completing last line reps, pick your weight and do:
    10 man maker burpees
    10 thrusters
    10 squats
    10 rows

    Weight choices were cinder blocks, 35lb db, 30lb ruck plate stack, 60lb sandbag

    Run to end of parking lot and back to beginning, repeato. AMRAP for 35 minutes.

    Circle of pain, core edition – call out your exercise and lead cadence for up to 25 reps. Must be core focused.

    Ended in a COT, YHC was the 6.
