Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

1st Annual 4th of July CSAUP – Run Ruck Swim
    QIC – Trinity
Pax – Oz, Jeter, Belding, Sideshow, Brita, Brute, Rubble, Pixar, Drago, Pinewood, Gap, Sipe, Mater, Jimmy Dean, Johnny, Scrooge, Care Bear, Patch, Bullock, Speedo, Simmons, Hamm, Ollie, Beaker, Smails, Mayor, Colonel, Minnie, Danica, Dauber, Otto, Klinger, Splinter, Mole

The Thang – In celebration of our Nation’s birthday we decided to do something a little different this year and have a reason to get everyone together for a couple of hours to start the day off. A big thanks to the Harsh family for allowing us to use their property as home base for this operation and the final leg of the event.
RUN: We circled up at 6:00 for a quick count and outline of the event. YHC attempted to provide directions for the initial 5K route but thankfully no one listened as we would have wound up running to Metamora. We began the run as a group and quickly separated as a couple of pax (Simmons and Hamm) set a blistering pace.
RUCK: Upon completion of the run we regrouped and set off on a 4 mile ruck with a recommended weight of 40 pounds packed. We did a better job of keeping the group together and finished up in just over an hour.
SWIM: The plan was to partner up and do the swim in groups of 5, but Oz was feeling good and dove right in. I’m not sure who went next but there was no holding back at that point. Pax completed a down and back swim of 75 – 100 yards with Gap and Sipe completing an equally long bear crawl.

We circled up with everyone still accounted for minus Splinter and Klinger who needed to head out early.

Danica organized a great 2nd F with his M delivering coffee and breakfast for everyone. A great finish to the morning and an epic start to the 4th of July!

As always, its an honor to lead this group and be around so many outstanding individuals.
