Affectionately coined Mount Doom since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Weight training workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 60 minute beatdown.

    5:40 am 62F clear skies, wind very light out of the west. Course set up for short windward leeward with standoff mark on the asphalt, the grass was wet. PRO called for 3 laps per race 10 reps 20 reps and 30 reps – finish to weather. Round 1 legs, some with rucks for extra load, start Lt Dan’s upwind round to port Skaters 2 is 1 to the standoff mark Mtn. Climbers 4 is 1 . As expected the saw some separation in the fleet. Tu Pac called to work for the 6th we all did, and that is why we say respect… so much to learn from the PAX. Round 2 abs 3 laps 20, 30, 40 reps, LBC, Big Boys, Freddy Mercuries. The pace settled in, Tu Pac then showed us how he can out spring Hog and then bring in the 6. JD kept time we had enough for a 3rd round of planks and we worked on our counting and listening skills through High planks, low side plank and plank jacks. Thanks to the 8 men who joined me at the hill this morning, I look forward to doing it again real soon – like tomorrow at the Fuse!
