Boot camp style workout.
Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.
Warm-Up
20 side straddle hops
15 thrusters
10 manmakers
15 merkins – 5 unbalanced on each side of the block and 5 incline merkins on the block
1 lap around the park.
Work-Out
Groups of 2. Have a block at each station. Label small cone with the exercises.
Stations – 4 rounds – lap around park in-between rounds 2 and 3.
1st round do one of the exercises on the cone, 2nd round do the other exercises on the cone. switched up some of the cones for rounds 3 and 4.
Wheelbarrow your partner down, he brings you back. Used this to time the movements before rotating to the next station.
Rounds 1 and 2 – Curls – with cinder blocks or weights or Crunchy Frogs
Round 1 and 2 – Cinder block swings or American Hammers
All 4 rounds – Chest press with cinder block or Klinger Kicks
Rounds 3 and 4 – Decline Merkins or Scissor Kicks
Rounds 3 and 4 – Bent over row or LBC’s
Log Race
Split group into two teams. Split group into two teams. Half of each team ends to the far cone. Relay race but you have to carry the log instead of a baton. Ran 2 heats.
Al Gore Walk
Each member holds Al Gore, guy from end sprints to the front, reapeato until we went about 5 yards.
