Boot camp style workout.
Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.
Genesis 32
Q: Socrates
PAX: Socrates, Gap, Valdez, Struxture, Rocco, Modell, Gadget, K-mart, Vance Refrigeration, Beaker, Dauber.
The Thang: Circuit Training no rest for 1 hour.
15 minute warmup with active stretching and a lap around the park.
15 minute upper body stations. The timer was the PAX who ran a half lap. When they returned the stations were rotated.
15 minute lower body group workout that included high knee with sprints, shieldwall lunges, 150 SSH, and weighted vest sprints. Ended with Indian run with exercise stoppage points.
10 minute total body circuit that included sprints and burpees. Ended with the 5 minutes of pain that Socrates is famous for.
Jacob was tough. He wrestled with God until he was given a limp. All the PAX limped into the executive diner on Saturday. Honor to lead.
