Boot camp style workout.
Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.
The Beatdown: started with 5 core principles and credo. Ran over by ball diamond and counted off in 1s and 2s. 1s stood on imaginary line while 2s picked a partner. We would then cumulatively complete 100 of an exercise while the other partner ran suicides. Once every pair got to 100 of the exercise, they’d hold a plank or Al Gore. Then we would rotate partner’s down one person. We did this the whole hour. With 12 different exercises. Ended with a nice stretch with good mumble chatter. 14 men were there. Ended in COT and NOR. Romano was the 6 and spoke of the growth of this group and how important it is to continue to grow because its important to have strong HIM in the community.
