What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

We rucked with a cinder block from the start of the river trail on Main Street at the hotel all the way to Burger King and back. Then we went back down the trail and looped around back up thru Root’s parking lot and back to the start (3 miles). There we enjoyed a bonus of the following: 10 Merkins in cadence (slow four count 1:1), 10 Ruck swings in cadence (2:1), 10 Big Boys while holding ruck in cadence (2:1)

Beaker was the Six and shared a great background on how F3 has helped him.
We closed in prayer for Brute’s family, Mayor’s family, the hurricane to go back out to sea, our troops and first responders for keeping us safe and free.
Iron PAX Challenge Week 1 @ The Fuse

6 PAX completed the week 1 Iron PAX Challenge on this early Tuesday Morning. The challenge consisted of 5 rounds of :
10 yard broad jump, 10 burpees, 10 bonnie blairs, 10 big boy sit ups

All this was completed 5 times. The times are as follows:

Ended with COT. Too tired in the morning after that ridiculousness to remember much else.
