    13 pax showed up in the frosty gloom with temps in the mid 20s for a beatdown blessing celebrating YHC’s 2.0 12th birthday. All exercises to be done in reps of 12

    QIC – Ollie

    Pax:
    Sipe, Poodle, Sideshow, Bluto, Mailman, Splinter, Ticket, Cogsworth, Mater, Brita, Rose, Klinger, Ollie

    Warm-up:
    1) SSH – 12 in cadence
    2) Plank with arm circles – 12 each arm
    3) Lap around the parking lot and mozy to field behind track

    The Thang:
    4 cones setup in a square 50 yards apart and 1 lap consisted of the following:
    ” 1st cone – 12 merkins
    ” Bear crawl to the next cone (50 yards)
    ” 2nd cone – 12 burpees
    ” Walking lunges to the next cone (50 yards)
    ” 3rd cone – 12 merkins
    ” Bear crawl to the next cone (50 yards)
    ” 4th cone – 12 burpees
    ” Walking lunges to the starting cone (50 yards)

    Rinse and repeat x4.

    Goal was to get to 6 laps around (12×12 burpees and 12×12 merkins) but we ran out of time at 4. Ended with 96 burpees, 96 merkins, 400 yards of bear crawls and 400 yards of lunges. Special callout to SIPE for the burpee cadence on the last few rounds… that was needed as we were fading fast!

    COT:
    Always energized and inspired in the COT and this morning did not disappoint as Splinter shared his story as the six. He is a true inspiration for this PAX, always positive, humble and we are blessed to have him. YHC shared his vision for this workout as a time to make sure we walk the talk and be 100% authentic leaders. Many prayers offered up to those inflicted with cancer, mental illness and overall suffering. May we take time each day to lift up our work in honor of those who are distress and can’t. Live each day to the fullest men!
