Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.

    “Lone Survivor”

This was a different idea for a workout and today was the day we put to the test. We had 15 PAX there so we broke up into three groups of 4 and we had one group of 3. The idea for lone survivor is to see who in the group can perform the exercise for the longest time, while performing a static hold while they wait their turn.

Station 1 – Pull ups. Each person hangs from the bar and one person performs a pull-up. This repeats until there is only one person left (The lone survivor) doing pull-ups. As guys drop, they did Side Straddle Hops until the lone survivor was done on the pull up bar.

Station 2 – Al Gore Jump Squats to determine the lone survivor. Supermans until the lone survivor is done.

Station 3 – Burpees to determine the lone survivor, Big Boys until the lone survivor is done.

Station 4 – Leg Raises to determine the lone survivor. Run the hill until the lone survivor is done.

Station 5 – Merkins to determine the lone survivor. Calf Raises until the lone survivor is done.

Station 6 – Block Press to determine the lone survivor. Block Rows until the lone survivor is done.

Station 7 – Wall Sits to determine the lone survivor. Hold plank until the lone survivor is done.

NOR – Mickey, Solo, Bagels, Cratchit, Brute, Ollie, Pixar, Smails, Mayor, Johnny, Kasem, Ticket, Gadget, Lochte, and Mole as Q.

COT – Bagels was the 6 and he did a really nice job. The only prayer request was for all the kids going back to school. We also prayed for our military and first responders and that we would lead well and be a positive influence wherever we may go.

It is always an honor and a privilege to lead.
