Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.
Ups and Downs
Pax (20): Smails, Ollie, Brute, Beaker, Spackler, Pinewood, Hedgehog, Colonel, Mole, Ozzie, Pixar, Bambi, Ticket, Johnny, Gas Man, Tupac, Mayor, Trinity, Goose, Trojan(Q)
Warmup: Rounds of alternating side straddle hops with merkins all in cadence…5 SSHs, 4 merkins, 10 SSHs, 6 merkins, 15 SSHs, 8 merkins, 20 SSHs, 10 merkins
Thang: Each round contained an “up” PT area and a “down” PT area at the top and bottom of Faith Hill. Pax would mosey up and down the hill to each spot. Sequence of reps was 20 at each, 15 at each, 10 at each, 5 at each.
Round 1- Up = heels to heaven; Down = Carolina dry docks
Round 2- Up = tricep dips; Down = Mtn climbers (2 is 1)
Round 3- Up = Big boy situps; Down = wide merkins
Round 4- Up = incline merkins; Down = horsey ups
CoT: Mayor was our 6 and spoke about emotional strength (especially with an empty nest) he draws from his F3 brothers. Announcements included Christmas party reminder and a January 1 start date for Winter Challenge 2023. Prayers for Pinewood’s mother and those struggling with mental health. Always an honor to lead.
