What the ruck is a ruck?  A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

    We joined the ruckers for count-o-rama and then separated. We ran to the Levi’s Commons Clock Tower and back for a total of 5.2 miles. On the way back from the clock tower we were joined by a runner originally from Russia. Had lots of great conversation with him as we made our way back to the fort. When we returned we joined with the ruckers for the Circle of Trust. We did count-o-rama and name-o-rama. Chanel was the 6. We finished with announcements and prayer intentions.

    PAX = Ponzi, Jennay, Stark, Huffy, Chew Toy, Casper, Woodstock, Chanel, Flubber, Dutch, Huckelberry, Bourbon, Bongo, Landslide, Smokey, Montoya, Mile High, HazMat, Isociles

    20 PAX came together on a perfect am.  Began with Mission Statement and Five core principles.  PAX broke into two groups to go our seperate ways for one hour, runners and ruckers. Ruckers brought coupons and we carried one coupon per two people. Two minutes on Two minutes off.  Transistions started badly and got a little better near the end.  Q takes full responsibility for not doing better.  Lessons learned and same mistakes will not be made again.  We rucked 25 minutes out and 25 minutes back. Isociles had to leave a little early and jogged back about 40 minutes in.  Kudos to him for showing and not letting time be used as an excuse.   Since we got back a little early, we enjoyed some ruck PT.  Squats, American Hammers and Flutter kicks.

    Good work by all, runners and ruckers. Weather improving and everyone.is.getting.excited looking forward to spring.  Ended in naming our newest PAX member, Flubber, announcements and COT.
