What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.
Santa is a Rucker
PAX: Beeker, Jimmy Dean, Pixar, Billy Bob, Trinity, Bluto, Johnny, Extra, Extra, Bullock, Brute, Rubble, Cousteau.
It’s December so it was time for a good old fashion Christmas Ruck. The trail took us north towards the Pole (however, we did not make it there in an hour). Coupons included a bin of Christmas lights, a bin of Christmas books, and Santa’s sack which cleverly held not presents, but a 40lb sand bag. Conversations toggled between everyone’s last week Thanksgiving, upcoming Christmas plans, and what level of progress everyone had on their Christmas decorations.
The path wound up close to the Michigan boarder, then west and finally back to our starting point were COT focused on health issues and prayers both for those dealing with cancer and other long term health issues as well as family members supporting individuals experiencing health issues.
