You have to be strong enough to play the run, nimble enough to play the pass – so all these exercises are designed to build muscle
The thang:
Bull in the ring – burpee in the ring
5 burps while the rest do air squats
– Backwards shuffle up the hill
8 circuit sets
– jump rope 150
– Wall shoulder taps 10 – hand stand wall holds
– Merkins 20 reps
– Strength bands or curls 15 each arm
– Plank air – John travoltas? Reach into your belly 15
– Cone drills – dots shuffle , zig zag
– Shuffle w strength bands 15 yards out 15 yards back
– Curls – 15 an arm
Loop around the field and sprint up hill
