Affectionately coined Mount Doom since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Weight training workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 60 minute beatdown.

    Da pax: Sipe, Rubble, Jeter, Minnie, Jake the Snake, Hustle

    Warm-up: Short jog; then 20 SSH, in cadence, followed by 15 ‘squamperial walkers’ in cadence (i.e. Imperial walker starting position. Then, squat down for ‘1’, up for ‘2’, then imperial walker for ‘3’ and leg down for numeral uno, up to 15).

    Da thang: the pax was told to bring a cinder or other weight. The flag was planted in the middle of where we were doing the exercises. OYO, we all set our weights near the flag and moseyed to the side of the school doing 4 sets of 10 of wall sit kick-outs (each leg x 20 reps). We moseyed to the flag and grabbed said weights and started doing a pyramid-type workout of 20 squat thrusters. We jogged down to the school driveway entrance closest to Monroe St. and did 20 SSH then back to the weights for 15 squat thrusters, then back to the wall for more wall-sit kick-outs. This was continued for reps, 10, 5, 5, 10, 15 and ending on 20 squat thrusters.

    Totals for this round:

    320 wall-sit kick-outs
    160 SSH
    100 squat thrusters.

    Round 2: same pyramid-style number of reps, starting by doing 10 decline Merkins off the curb by the school. Moseyed to our weights for 20 curls. Jogged down to the same driveway entrance for 10 burpees, then about a 20 yard bear-crawl up the driveway, then jogged to the weight station for 15 arm curls. This continued, going back and forth to the decline Merkins then back to the weights and to the ‘burpee station’, doing, again, the same pyramid after 15, of 10, 5, 5, 10, 15, 20.

    Totals for this round:

    80 decline Merkins
    80 burpees
    100 arm curls
    160ish yards of uphill bear crawls.

    COR, NOR. The ‘6’ was your truly, the Q, EH’d by Splinter. I feel like a broken record going in the middle, but gave my rendition of the impact F3 has done for me.
