Tuesday’s gone and so was John Henry who de-committed in the wee hours of the morn; Mailman returned the favor on my fartsack at BB with one of his one. We toured the grounds of Promedica (to Belding’s delight) and wandered over 475 to old Devilbiss HS having a brief discussion about the closing of Macomber and D and how that may have helped Start become the baseball powerhouse it was in the 90s.
Jim Jackson, Donnie Dobbs, Larney Martin were some of the names tossed around. Came across a blanket – Romano checking to make sure sure it did not contain anything living. Traveled into OP where it was incredibly dark and Romano shared his skunk story. Earlier he regaled us with a tale about Ben “Cobra” Batey as well as filling in BVVR on #FHS – It was like his version of VH1 storytellers actually.
